Instructional Technologist
Oakland Community College (September 2004 – September 2005)

Researched emerging technologies. Assisted faculty with course evolution/enhancement using instructional technologies. Conducted training in the use of academic technologies for faculty and support staff. Assisted with the development and execution of pedagogical learning forums such as the Teaching and Learning with Technology Roundtables (TLTRs).

Developed after school program modeled after GirlTech to involve young women in math and sciences. Curriculum Integration – Developed standards of use and achievement for teachers and students. Technology Department Head – Maintained divisional budget, coordinated software selection, compatibility, cost-benefit analysis and approval, advised public relations department on showcasing technology. Web Site Administrator – responsible for intranet development and maintenance. Conference Coordinator: “Technology in the Classroom: Today and Tomorrow” November 14, 2001. The conference was jointly presented by Detroit Country Day School and Microsoft.
