I am in England…it has been raining since last week.  Right now the sun is out…and somehow, it is still raining.

People are outside drinking @ the Peanut Barrel, the golf courses were full on the drive up…Si quaeris peninsulam amoenam, circumspice.

This my friends, is the UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE YEAR.  I felt like a stunt driver, I seriously thought I might die, or at least come out seriously injured.  There was no ‘first warning’…no ‘snow team’ out to cover this debacle of a morning.  I seriously do not understand how 1-inch of snow can close school and call for 24/7 news coverage, but cars flipping in mid-air east and westbound on 96 between here and Lansing gets a minuscule mention? Not even headline news??? I’m not overreacting either, it was really, really bad, NOT what I need right now!
